Annual Institute Report

Each year, ROE24 prepares an Institute Report outlining activities, professional development programs, school compliance initiatives, licensing services, and student support provided throughout Grundy and Kendall counties.

This report highlights our commitment to improving educational outcomes, supporting educators, and promoting best practices in our schools.

What's Inside the Report:

Institute Fund (105 ILCS 5/3-12) The Institute Fund is made up of educator license registration fees and a portion of renewal and duplicate license fees. These funds are collected and managed by the Regional Superintendent.

How the Institute Fund Is Used

The Institute Fund supports a variety of services that help educators and school districts, including:

Professional Development Review Committees: Costs related to committee meetings, appeals, and guidance on educator license renewals.
Licensure Technology & Processing: Improvements to technology systems and support for timely, efficient license processing and renewals.
Licensure Administration: All costs associated with managing educator licenses.
Professional Development: Expenses for teachers’ institutes, workshops, and other professional learning activities approved by the Regional Superintendent.
