Today’s school leaders face unprecedented division, uncertainty, and disruption within multigenerational learning communities.
To thrive in this environment, leaders must become connectors—building bridges by developing four essential leadership capacities: core values, communication, coaching, and collective, inclusive capacity. These skills are critical for understanding and bridging the gaps that divide school communities.
This Illinois Administrators Academy offers an interactive, activity-based experience focused on practical strategies for building bridges in diverse and divided settings.
Prior to the session, participants will complete a five-question pre-work survey to identify the unique challenges and perceptions within their schools. This feedback will shape the training, with special emphasis on communication, coaching, and collective capacity, all grounded in strong core values.
During the academy, participants will engage in collaborative activities, discussions, and reflection, applying actionable strategies to real-world scenarios.
A welcome email will be sent prior to the Academy with the pre-work included.
Coffee service and lunch provided.
